instructions for Trac top armrest for 1986 e30 325...anyone?

Hi all,

I just bought a used armrest for my 325e, and there is a bit of mystery with
the brackets, does anyone have instructions they can fax or email, or
measurements of where I locate the bracket (i.e., how far forward from rear
of existing console, etc.) to mount this thing?  Tips, clues, big or small?
