E32 books,etc, to get?

I just got an '88 735i 5-speed to replace the e12 528i that I've been
rebuilding by pieces (I know about 88's, but 89 5-speeds are REAL rare).

I wanted to get some manuals for it, but I find that the Bently won't be
out until 2000, and it costs $120. Is there another manual that I should
have, or should I just wait? Is there any Fiche or CD-ROM documentation
that I should get?
