Want to add CD player

My son is wanting to add a CD player to our '90 325i. This has the radio
with the infrared controls. I
understand that the Cd player for the radio is expensive & not
trustworthy. I just purchased a later
model radio, P/N 88 88 1 600 183. This is suppose to be for a '95,96 or
97 model. It is identified as
Model KE-83zbm....spec# /XH/US. Can anyone give me some help with this?
What connectors do I
need to change from the existing radio to this new one & which CD player
will work with it? Also,
the Black plastic bezel around the unit is broke on the corner. Anyone
have one to replace this one?
