On this issue the dealer has the upper hand because when you drive the
vehicle off their lot the sale is final.
Your only protection is to have the vehicle independently inspected prior to
the purchase and if you think you have been sold a vehicle under fraudulent
conditions then you will need to bring your discovery to the dealers
attention ASAP.
An example:  My buddy purchased an M3 that had been crashed and poorly
repaired.  He discovered the previous damage within a few days after he ran
the car off the road.  Believe-it-or-not they replaced the car with another
undamaged used M3.  In this case, one of the dealer mechanics told the sales
department that they should have never sold a car with the previous damage.
It could be inferred that the previous frame damage caused the vehicle to
veer off the road under spirited driving.  He lucked out!!!
