I have recently bought a 84 325e for $500 yes $500 US dollars and I am
looking to do some major work on it. This is my first BMW and I would like
to do the following but I don't know what I should do first. The only one
I'm sure of is replacing the drive shaft but I don't know if I need to do
replace it or just the center barring It only shakes at low speeds and side
to side not front to back. I am trying to build my 325 to a street mod
(weekend race) but it is also a daily driver car any help would be great.
Other than that it is in fine shape. The following is a list of things I'm
thinking about doing and opinions would be appreciated
1. New body kit (I have been looking around the net and I can not locate a
Racing type body kit for my car.
I have seen plenty of different photos of this type of car with body kits
but I can't find any)
2. New front and rear and side spoiler kits with a wing for the trunk
3. New Rims and tires (don't know the largest rim and tires I can get
under the wheel well that is why I'm looking for a body kit)
4. Spring kit and new shocks with sway bar front and rear( to lower and
stiffen the car's response)
5. Strut braces front and rear
6. A new High flow exhaust system
7. New crossed drilled and gas slotted rooters with six pistons (also New
SS Brake lines).
9. Rebuild the complete Engine (possibly swap for newer engine)
10. Performance Chip replacement
