1973 - 2002a rear breaks are *smoking*

The car is a 1973 2002a (automatic) which just recently had a simular issue wit
hthe front breaks heating up (smoking at high speed) which was resolved by
replacing both sets of rubber breaklines (to the front).

Now I am getting the same effect with the right rear wheel only. I came home
the other day from driving on the expressway and the wheel was smoking and
smelling of burnt brakes. I test drove it last night around the block and I get
slight heat after driving ~5-10 miles at 50mph on the right side. It seems that
the rear brakes are for somereason hanging up now.

The haynes manual suggests this might be due to air in the hydraulic system,
wheel cylinders seized, or the hand brake cables are too tight.

Since this has just recently started hapening I was wondering if there are any
other things I should look out for. I have also been told that a faulty return
spring, or adjusting the breaks may resolve this issue.

I am hoping to borrow / rent a jack and some jackstands this weekend and see
what is going on, but I am pretty new to the bmw and would appreciate any insite
that anyone might have or any suggestions on what to look for / replace first.
