84 533i E28, Fog lights stopped working

1984 533i.  The foglights stopped working a few weeks ago.  I didn't bother
with them then because I just didn't have the time or inclination to fix
them at the time.

They both went out, so I doubted it was the bulbs.  Pulled them anyway and
they look okay.  Both fuses look fine.  Pulled the relay, but there was
nothing to see there.  The switch sounds (seems) like it is working.

What should I check next?
