<e36> AC upgrade?

I've heard that in Singapore, Australia, and other climes, the e36 comes =
with
a larger AC compressor. I live in Houston, so you can guess where I'm goi=

with this, right? Assuming it uses r134a, does anyone know if the larger
compressor (part #, anyone?) would work on a US car & give cooler air (or=

maybe there's a larger condensor, evaporator, etc. as well to go with the=

larger compressor)?
