Techron is not really strong enough to warrant an oil change after a 
single application.  As is specified on the label, multiple 
applications within a certain interval would call for an oil change, 
but such a usage pattern shouldn't be necessary if the car is fed 
decent gas.

OTOH, something like BG44K should be timed for usage before an oil change.
