<e39> 540iA stalling problems?

James, I've had that problem with my 97 540i many times and it has seen the
dealer that many also. The only item that was ever changed was the cat.
converter. Don' t think this is the culprit but it hasn't happened since
then. Was told by the service writer once that the throttle control sticks
at times in these cars. Could be bs as far as I know. If it's this, why
didn't they fix it!
