Looking for Service Bulletin 12 07 88 (1678)

Hello,

some months ago I found following information, now after finishing
my e to i upgrade I run this mentioned DME in my project car -

Can anyone please send me the whole service bulletin or give me the complete
instructions 
how and where to insert the diode?

Another information I found is that a 153 DME can easily swapped for a 173
DME.
Can anyone verify this?
