Chris,

I saved myself from a badly damaged '88 300sel Mercedes by using carfax.
The dealer I was working with said everything about the car was in order.
He forgot to mention that the car had been declared a total loss in North
Carolina.  I highly recomend using Carfax before purchasing a used car.

The shop I am talking about is here in Atlanta and advertises on the Web.
Please be careful shopping long distance.
