No power 528e

Hello fellow Bimmer lovers!

 I was wondering if someone could tell me whether or not I have a transfer pump problem.
The symptoms are when I start from a standing position or need to accelerate quickly the car will
bog down and I have to let up on the gas or feather the pedal to get it to go. It doesn't feel
like it's going to stall, just feels like it's getting flooded with fuel and can't burn it fast
enough. 
Any opinions would be a big help.
