E30 (M40) Fuel Leak

I have an 89' 318i (M40) and after I serviced the fuel injection 
system there is now fuel apparently leaking from the bottom hose of 
what I am told is the Air/idle Stabiliser Valve at the back of the 
upper inlet manifold. It seems strange that fuel should be leaking 
from here at all? My plan is to remove the upper manifold/throttle 
assembly (again!) and replace the hose which connects the bottom 
of the air/idle stabiliser to the base of the air flow meter/throttle 
hose connector. The fuel leak is quite severe. 
Any thoughts/advice appreciated
