Pirelli P600 vs Pirelli P6000

Need to replace worn P600's on E34.  Cost for a set of 225 60 15 is 
over $700 for the P600's versus the P6000's..more like $400. Seems 
that the P600's aren't widely offered, and perhaps the P6000 are like 
replacements. (?).

Any comments on the either tire...or a more likely candidate?
