RE I a newby to the list/CD changer

I just picked up a 99 M3 and decided to change the head unit to the Blaupuntk
(sp?) Toronto.  It is an indash CD player.  I think better sound than my stock
head unit and based on Cruchflield's current deal not bad at $299 vs a BMW
changer.  They also throw in the thummer which I can't use and the wiring
connections.  If you still wanted the CD changer, check out the combination of
the Toronto and a Blau six disk changer or the cassette version (not sure of the
name - but should be cheaper) and the Blau changer.  The best part is how well
it matches the interior of the BMW and you can fine tune the color to get the
exact shade of orange illumination.  Only down side is in direct sun light, the
color is a bit off - but nothing you can't live with.
