info for e30 M3 short shift kit, anyone?

Thanks for those who sent me info on the parts needed for my little
brother's 318ti short shifter. The guy at BMW asked me if there is anything
similar for his e30 M3. So, this posting is actually for a BMW certified
mechanic. He has a 1988 M3 and he hates the long shifts but doesn't want to
pay close to US$200 for an after market kit. So, anyone has any info for
him?
