[E30] brakes and convertible specific question

I recently had some noise coming from the front wheels of my 88 325iC, so
I ordered a pair of wheel bearings and had them installed. Well, the noise
didn't stop. Put the car up on jack stands and noticed that the passenger
tire did not spin freely at all, while the driver tire did. The passenger
side brake pads were wearing unevenly, as in the pad surface was not
parallel to the metal backing plate of the pad (both pads on the front
passenger side). And the rotor spun freely after I removed the brakes. One
of the caliper guide pins appeared to be sticking. I removed it, cleaned
it, and put a small amount of wheel bearing grease on it. That seemed to
help for a couple of days, but now its doing the same thing again. The car
also has a strange pull when the brakes are first applied, almost like one
side is being braked before the other. Just about the entire front
suspension has been replaced within the last 6 months or so. (steering
rack, inner and outer tie rod ends, control arms, control arm bushings, and
sway bar end links, oh yea, can't forget the front wheel bearings) Any
pointers?

Now for the convertible specific question. Theres a mechanism in the trunk
above the factory amp that prevents the trunk from being opened while the
convertible top storage lid is open. A while back, the clamp on the end of
the wire popped off, rendering that mechanism useless. Just thought I
would ask if anyone has any pointers before I go climbing in the trunk of a
black car in 100+ degree heat index weather. (without documentation)

Thanks for any info!
