E28 Speedometer

Hi.  Thanks for the help on the oil light flickering.  I got under the car and wiped off the sending unit and
the flickering stopped.  Then I went back to napa and returned the sending unit I had bought.  Napa treated
me like crap all weekend.

The next up in my lineup of problems is the speedometer.  It doesn't work at all.  I have the electrical
troubleshooting guide but I couldn't really figure out where to start.  My car is a 83 528e, and the tach works
but the speedometer and the dash lights do not.  Any help would be apprecaited.
