not sure what the problems are with your OBC..
to check fuel level press 1 and 1000 at the same time

deadbolting
a) mechanically locks drivers door so that it can only be opened with the key
b) electronically locks passenger door(s) so that they can only be unlocked
if the drivers door is unlocked with the key
c) trunk is not part of the deadbolt system and can always be unlocked

check my FAQ at
ftp://ftp.doe.carleton.ca/pub/chrisp/bmw/central.lock.faq or
ftp://ftp.doe.carleton.ca/pub/chrisp/bmw/central.lock.pdf

most likely it is the electronic signal not getting from the drivers lock
cylinder to the central lock computer.. either the microswitch in drivers
door is not being engaged or the A pillar connector has corrosion inside..

>the old CPU ?

not possible
