Had this problem before on a E30 M3. We tried an easy-out but that
broke. Next we drilled the bolt out, cut a hole in the floor directly
above the bolt (the Snap-On circular cut outs work great.), tore out the
factory welded nutsert, and replaced the hole mess with a new bolt, nut,
and washers. Was a MAJOR PITA! I hope you have better luck with yours.
But this isn't that bad of an alternative...
