16" wheels for 1997 M3

Hello again folks,
A couple of weeks ago, I posted an inquiry asking if anyone could give me 
advice about fitting 16" wheels/tires to my 1997 M3 sedan. For several days I 
saw no replies, but then I left town for a week...maybe I missed something ?

Anyway, I'd still like to do it....cheaper tires, better mileage, quieter, 
and I'm not a good enough driver to know the difference in handling.
