Do what I do...go to the local BMW dealer and they'll do it for free.
Matter of fact, I have to go in real soon to have the inspection light
reset. I can't see buying the tool when it can be done for nothing but
a trip to the dealer, in which I usually do that when I go buy my fix of
oil filters.
