<E30> Shifter question

The hole in the end of the shifter lever (where the rod
goes in) on my '84 325e is very worn, and the shifter
is loose even with new bushings and knuckle (on the trans).
Does this lever have a replaceable bushin  (not the yellow
washers, but the inside surface)?

Is the shifter lever on the later allunimum platform E30 325
shifter the same as the earlier one with the sheet metal
platform?    I have an extra shifter assy. from an '87 (later style)
that I could steal the lever from.
