Sorry if this is redundant news for you, but
I took in my '96 328i in this week to have the
IHAK unit (heat/ac readouts) replaced, and was notified that
the dealer was going to perform a 'voluntary recall'
on the camshaft sensor. It was done free, so you might
want to call your dealer about it.
