$.02 worth of 14 guage wire will do the same thing.  Turn the ignition key
to the 2nd position (do not start).  Connect pin 7 of either the 15 or 20
pin diagnostic connector to a good ground in the engine bay.  Leave
connected for about 4 seconds for an oil reset and about 10 seconds for an
Inspection reset.
