Hotel in Munich

Folks,

I may have an opportunity to travel to Munich in June, and would like
recommendations as to where to stay.  I seem to remember people having a
good experience in a hotel near/across the street from the BMW museum, but
can't find the digest in which that message was sent.

If anyone has had a positive hotel experience in Munich, please let me
know, either via the digest or directly.
