i broke the law - and the law won

hi folks,

i got busted for speeding at highway 101 in california recently.

my question is: will this affect my SDIP (safe driver insurance
plan) in massachusetts?

as you probably know, paying for the ticket is one thing,
but paying the insurance surcharge for 6 yrs would make consider
if its worth flying to CA and contest this ticket.

any insight is appreciated.
