Before having any welding done, you will need to
determine whether or not the subframe is fabricated
from high strength steel.  If it is, the heat of welding
could weaken it.  If it were a body part, your local
body shop could help, but I do not know who would
know about subframes.

Please offer suggestions.  Should I have these tabs welded to complete
the bolt hole, or would that likely break after the first bump?  Should
I buy a used suspension sub-frame, and how involved would it be to
replace the sub-frame?
