[E36] Climate control broken?

Jason,

I have a 94 325is.  It does the same thing.  I have never really figured
out the logic behind the climate control system on that car.  In the 
winter when the air is coming out of the lower vents the temperature
dials seem to work, but in the summer when the dash vents are used the
logic of the two temperature dials and the center vent dial becomes 
somewhat fuzzy.  In Atlanta I usually just set everything to the blue 
side and hope it gets me cool before I reach home.
