Eventually you will need to get at the bulb socket, and clean or replace it.
On 1987 and later cars, the only way to access the turn signal assembly is
to remove the front bumber. This is 2 10MM (or so) hex bolts and it pulls
right out. Be careful you do not rip out both turn signal wires in the
process.
