E30 325is (non-ETA) Fuel Pressure Question

Hey gang,
Some of you might remember me, asking for a friend who's been having
starting problems with his 2.5 E30 for a while now.

Anyways, his mechanic has had the car hooked up to an array of fuel
pressure measuring devices for about a week.

He has discovered that the fuel pressure is stable for about 20 minutes,
and then leaking out very quickly, until there is no pressure left at the
2-hour mark. He's fairly certain that one or more injectors is leaking,
but before he goes and spends $300 on new injectors, I want to make sure
this isn't a "normal" condition.

If anyone has a Bentley for the engine, could you tell me what the
residual fuel pressures are supposed to be?

Also, does anyone have a really good parts supplier that can get injectors
cheaper than the $49 a piece quoted at Bavarian Autosport?

Also, for those who recommended Bill Ballon's BMW shop in Pittsburgh, we
tried to use him. We waited 3 months for an appointment, and then were
told they're no longer taking new customers. Shit, they could have told me
long ago and it would have saved me a lot of waiting. Also, their
secretary is about the rudest person I've ever dealt with. Oh well. :(

Thanks so much for the help...

(Still have my Scirocco 16V, but am looking at an 89 325i, too... and I
promise I will get a Bentley for the BMW if I get it. The VW 16v edition
doesn't seem to help much :)
