> Dear Rod, James, Dean, Sean, and other BMW digests,
I'm so appreciate about you guys helpful & knowledgable advises. Thanks again. I forgot to
tell you that I'm having a Pioneer Amp. with my SONY stereo. The amp. is 4 channels and using the
RCA wires to connet from head. However, the strange thing I have just found out is that if I only
plug or use 2 channels from head unit to amp. no matter front pair or rear pair of speakers for
either which 2 amp. channels, there is completly no noise at all. But after plug in full 4
channels to amp, the noise came out. Strange no?!
What I'm thinking that if it is possible one pairs of RCA wire is pair is no good, which
means the heads end up with the reverse joint or connection, and so caused the interference or
signal conflict with the other pair of RCA. What you guys' opinions?
The stereo is new, hope is not that bad luck to get a shity one. Another thing is that a
stereo installer told me that BMW with a SONY sound system is the worst try, he said never buy
SONY stereo for BMW because the alternator problem is common for BMW specially E36, and Sony is
the worst for noise filtering head after he has ever tried so many installation on BMW and sony.
But I never give up, so I borrowed a new Pioneer which is the top top one from him and tried
again, then the noise lowed down, but still there, which is he didn't expect. So the final try I
need to do is to change the good and expensive RCA wires and try.
Before I put money on those wires, I like to see you guys opinion. Please give some
hands!! Sorry about my poor English.
