The power steering reservoir has a filter in the bottom accessible by
removing the circlips on the threaded rod passing thru the cannister.
The filter is a porous cylinder shaped peice that costs about $10 after
CCA discount. In my M6, replacement of this piece plus new fluid
relieved "whine" sound associated with turning the steering wheel.
