"characteristics" is actually "Properties..."

"display bildschirmshoner" is probably the Screen Saver tab.

"filefile file" is Control Panel file.

You should drag said file onto the closed system _folder_, not the system
file (suitcase).

Umm, right. The message will be along the lines of "Control Panels need to
be placed in the Control Panel folder..." Hit return or click OK.

"kontrollfeld" is Control Panel.
