BMW brake/tail light saga solved!

Just wanted to let those out there with the nagging brake/tail light failure
messages know that they should check the sockets the bulbs are housed in.
The connectors on my E36 325I ('92), 125k were corroded. I replaced the
sockets with new updated ones from the BMW dealer (about $7.50 each) and the
problem is solved! It's so nice not to have to have those things come on
intermittently. I had tried adding solder to them but it's much easier and a
lot less of a headache to buy new.
