<E36> Bird in My Heater Blower

All -

Have a blasted squeak in my heater blower/fan that sound like a chirping
bird when on any speed setting and is driving me crazy!  Tried shooting some
oil on that squirrel cage fan but that worked for about 30 seconds.

Any suggestions short of replacing the thing?
