E36 M3 Airbag dash light?

I saw on the E30M3 list a posting by someone who had installed a non-airbag
steering wheel in place of air-bag steering wheel. After installation the
airbag light remained lighted on the dash. He found a way to disconnect some
wires to eliminate airbag light.
Well I have the same problem on E36M3, can anybody shed any light on how to
put out the airbag light on the dash?
