New NC area local BMW mailing list

Greetings,

I'm writing to introduce the Tarheel BMW Mailing List, a new 'local' mailing
list for BMW enthusiasts and BMW CCA members in North Carolina and the
surrounding area.

The purpose of the list is to serve as a gathering place and a forum for the
exchange of information for BMW enthusiasts and the 2000+ BMW CCA members
living in and around the Carolinas.  As the region is fairly geographically
diverse, it's sometimes difficult for BMW enthusiasts in the area to keep
informed and stay in touch.

You can expect to hear about BMW CCA Tarheel Chapter events and other BMW
marque and related activities of possible interest in the area including
Driver's Schools and Autocross events.  The forum should also serve to
foster the exchange of technical and other relevant information between
local BMW owners and enthusiasts.

The list is set up to allow for member only submissions. Currently the list
is available only in an individual message format.  If there is sufficient
interest in developing a Digest-based list, this can be implemented in the
future as message traffic increases to better serve the list members.

Include the text 's*bscribe tarheelbmw' in the text of the message.

Replace the * with a 'u' in your actual request.

You will then receive a confirmation e-mail from the list server.  Reply to
this e-mail and you will begin receiving messages.

The address for submissions to the list is:

tarheelbmw@domain.elided

Important: The list has a policy against commercial advertising.  Any
commercial entities interested in posting on the Tarheel BMW Mailing List
will need to contact the List Administrator at:
