Brake booster

I remember someone replaced their brake booster on their E28 or E24
without removing the lines from the brake master cylinder.  If this is
true, can you please E-mail me with the installation instructions.  I
have to undertake this job next weekend since the car is leaking brake
fluid at about a quater of a pint every 2 weeks.  Any help on how to
undertake this job will be much appreciated.
