Chicago Collision Advice/Thanks Richard

Unfortunately, on the way to work this morning I was rear-ended when I had
to make an emergency stop for a traffic jam in front of me. Does anyone
know the reputation of Patrick BMW and/or their Collision center located in
Schaumburg, IL? Also, should I assume that a bmw dealership will use 100%
bmw parts for an insurance repair, or do I need to stress the fact that I
will only accept original equipment parts? My insurance company has
already agree to let it be repaired by this dealership.

Doesn't apear to be too much cosmetic damage, but there is a strange
rubbing noise coming from the differential area. I think the driver hit me
at 20+ mph. Anyhow, if anyone knows of a better collision specialist,
please let me know.

I've been a member of this Digest for about 2 years now. Although, I've
not posted to the list too often, I've tried to e-mail advice privately to
list members when I thought I could help out. Richard, I really appreciate
the time and effort you've put in to maintaining such an excellent list.
The bmw digest attracts quite an eclectic group of individuals. (Quite a
drastic contrast to the usual yuppie bmw owner stigma). Our only hope is
that we can show a little respect for our different backgrounds and show a
little courtesy and decorum when posting. If you are angry at a certain
digest member...reply privately, or don't reply at all. A general rule of
thumb regarding e-mail is don't send it if you're angry, wait a day and
read your message when you're calm...you may find that your e-mail sounds a
bit rediculous. Just food for thought.

Thanks,
