Food for thought - How about an X3

Since my budget seems to confine my choices to 10 years old or more for the 5
series, I was thinking it might be nice for BMW to make an X3.  I love the
looks of the X5 and the room for my family of 5 (ok I have a minivan too), but
I hate the idea of waiting until the 2010 time frame to be able to afford one
(of the early models).  My budget seems to be able to handle 6-7 yr. old 3
series.  Thoughts???
