<<<Hello,
Will BMW dealers agree to do the Inspection 2 on my 1996 328is at 35,900+
under my 36,000 mile Service Warranty which expires at 36,0000 miles. I
still have one extremely pesk GREEN bar on the indicator showing. I am in
the San Francisco Bay Area.
Is there any exception to their rule?? Please advise...

Ian,
Your '96 328is, if purchased in the US of A, should be covered by a
50,000mi/4 year bumper to bumper factory warranty. Would it be different in
California? Someone correct me if I am totally off here.. Anyway, I don't
think the factory warranty covers regular scheduled service. Did you
purchase any additional warranty? I know '97+ BMW's had free oil
change/scheduled maintenance, but I'm not aware of similar option in '96.
