Jim,

If drivetrain losses are 21% for a Manual, what are they for an
Automatic?. Specifically an E28 535 Auto, but I assume other BMW auto's
would be similar. Any ideas?.

If I wanted to calculate flywheel horsepower using something like a
GTech Pro or "Home Dyno" Software (to compare modifications: without
chip, with your Chip and then with other modifications), what is your
chips Rear Wheel Horsepower and the standard Rear Wheel Horsepower? This
would allow me to estimate Flywheel Horsepower for an E28 535 with
different modifications, to get a figure useful for comparison - because
everyone quotes flywheel horsepower, not rear wheel horsepower. I
assume a lot of people would find these figures really useful as well.

Thanks,
Richard
