Andy,
With all due respect...I'm pretty sure it's a GT40, it's missing the big
hood and roof air scoops...what you are seeing is the classic round
white with black lettering number on both the hood and the side of the
car...it IS the Monterey "Historics" race, and if it's on the track with
older Bimmers, it's gonna be of the same vintage...
Also, Usually if they have newer cars out there, it's only for a lap or
two for Show. The races are pretty much reserved for vintage race cars.
A real F1 would be ahead of the Bimmer on that cover in my opinion.
Also...the focus was on the Bimmer, not the GT40 cresting the hill.
Just my opinion.
