[E36M3] Check Engine Light Flickers

All,

I am beginning to see my check engine light is on several occasions in my =
95 M3.  It comes on and goes off immediately or stay lit for 1-2 seconds.  =
The car drives normally.

I retreived the Motronic fault codes and got 1226 which is "Kock Sensor =
3".  Any one know what thiss mean?  Do I have a knock sensor going bad?  =
Shouldn't there be 6 sensors instead of 4?

BTW, I have a Jim C. chip installed.
