I think you really overpaid for this car-- no offense, but $29k-$30k tops,
with over 30k miles, and almost 4 years old.

Second, when buying a used car, especially not taking it back to the selling
dealer, you're asking for trouble after the "pre-purchase inspection."

You should have driven it over to Park Ave, at that point, and had them do the
service,etc., and put on the rubber pads.
