completely unsupported is right... have you ever even tried rain-x? a
perfectly clean window will not get rid of rain the way a rain-x
treated window will, not even close. no, rain-x is not a miracle
product, it has its benefits and its drawbacks. in a very light mist
it can be worse than a windhshield without it, and it needs to be
reapplied every month or so... however, imho, in a storm it's
fantastic. i drove home from limerock, conn. to washington, d.c. last
summer in a huge rainstorm, hours of it, cars were pulling off the
road, it was that bad. i felt like it wasn't even raining, and was
running the wipers on slow, i could see that well.
