This is partly true, and partly not.  Cars with ASC have a throttle
controller that sticks up right in between the strut towers.  A lot of the
strut braces that were designed for non-ASC cars will run right into this
throttle controller.  The braces that are designed for ASC equipped cars
have either a bend or use offset mounting brackets to avoid hitting the
throttle controller.  So, the part that's true is that a non-ASC brace may
not physically fit on an ASC equipped car. The part that's false is that
there aren't any strut braces that will work - just get one that's designed
for an ASC car.
