I couldn't copy-paste Manuel's post but basically he couldn't feel the
difference the x-brace makes.
Manuel, you're not alone. I still believe that unless you drive the
car hard and get used to
its handling characteristics in stock form you won't feel the
difference. Myself, I installed it
after I had already done about 3 autocrosses with the car and felt a
significant change in the steering
quickness. The place where it made the biggest difference for me was
in the slalom. I took out the first
cone of the first slalom because of the brace (at least I'd like to
think so) and it threw off my
whole timing until I was used to it (on the second run). I didn't
feel the difference on the street though.
Whaddya mean by sports suspension? Is it an H&R/Bilstein or some other
sort of Stage I suspension? If so
there you have it. Those combos stiffen up the car enough that you
won't feel the brace.
